Kathmandu, November 22
Minister for Education Giriraj Mani Pokharel met his Qatari and Malaysian counterparts on the sidelines of the ‘World Innovation Summit for Education’ currently underway in Qatar.
In a meeting between Education Minister Pokharel and his Malaysian counterpart Maszlee bin Malik, matters related to collaboration in the areas of higher education and technical education of Nepal were discussed.
Likewise, Minister Pokharel and Qatari Education Minister Mohammad Abdul Wahid discussed the possible areas for educational partnership between the two countries, informed Minster Pokharel’s personal secretary Binod Neupane. On the occasion, the Qatar government has pledged to open a technical institute in Nepal.
