A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in the Dang district of southwestern Nepal.
The four-wheeler (Ba 01 025 Cha 7764) hit local Devraj Chaudhary (25) at Jalaurachok, Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city-10 of the district at around 8:45 pm on Sunday, informs DSP Mukundra Rijal of the District Police Office.
Seriously injured in the accident, he died at the Rapti Academy of Health Sciences during treatment.
Police have impounded the vehicle and arrested its driver for further investigation and action.
