One person died and 23 people were injured in a bus collision in the Dang district of Lumbini on Friday morning.
Shobha Pariyar (24), a resident of Runtigadhi rural municipality-9 of the Rolpa district, died in the accident whereas her two sons have been injured.
Of the injured, 12 are said to be critical. Seven have been taken to Bhairahawa, three to the Rapti Academy of Health Sciences in Ghorahi and two to Nepalgunj.
Others are undergoing treatment at the Lamahi Hospital.
Two buses heading towards Bhalubang from Lamahi and towards Tulsipur from Birgunj collided in Phalkapur, Lamahi municipality-3 at around 6:45 this morning, informs Rajan Kumar Gautam, the District Police Office spokesperson.
