Three men have been arrested on charges of raping minors in Baglung.
The three men reportedly raped three girls (two 15-year-olds and one 16-year-old) they met via Facebook by luring them to attend a birthday party.
The men who were on the run have been arrested. The accused have been identified as Sandeep Tamang, Rahul Thapa and Ashok Darlami. All three were arrested in Baglung, informed DSP Ganga Bahadur Thapa.
The girls left home on December 9 telling their families that they were going to celebrate a friend’s birthday. But the three didn’t return. When the family reported a complaint, they were found in a hotel at Baglung Bazar on December 11.
The girls told the police that they had been raped by the three men.
Investigations are ongoing.
