Aftershock rattles a sleeping country

Kathmandu, February 11

A 4.6-magnitude quake rattled Kathmandu and several other parts of the country at 10.12  pm on Wednesday. The aftershock, according to National Seismological Centre, had its epicentre in Sindhupalchok.

Five days ago, a 5.5-magnitude aftershock had rattled the country at night, injuring more than 70 people as they ran towards safer places. After the April 25 mega quake, which had its epicentre in Gorkha, the country has experienced around 4,500 aftershocks of 4-plus magnitude,  according to the centre.
