The authority is launching the campaign by providing to each quake-destroyed household Rs 50,000, the first installment of the grant meant for reconstruction of permanent houses.

In the first phase, the authority will provide the grants to people of Ladruk-8 and Lamidanda VDC-6. A team under Ram Prasad Thapaliya, joint-secretary at the authority, has already reached Dolakha for the distribution of grants.

In the first phase, the authority will distribute the grants to the victims of six Dolakha villages, including Lamidanda, Ladruk, Chilankha and Babare. The authority has earmarked around Rs 26.56 crore through the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development for the same.
