Kathmandu, September 14
A dense crowd of women devotees has gathered at Pashupatinath Temple since early morning for Haritalika Teej.
Women dressed attractively in red sarees, green bangles, pote (glass-bead necklaces), and colourful flowers pinned in their hair have arrived at Pashupati for worship and darshan.
The heavy turnout of devotees in traditional attire has given the whole Pashupati area a distinctly festive Teej atmosphere.
Devotees have come to Pashupatinath specifically adorned with a variety of flowers in their hair, a practice widely regarded as a beautiful symbol of Nepali tradition, culture, and beauty.
