Construction of the Federal Parliament Building located at Singha Durbar is nearing its final stages. The building has been constructed with a modern and grand structure.
Interior decoration and technical work are currently underway in the session hall.

After the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor was destroyed by arson during the Gen Z protests on September 8 and 9 last year, parliament sessions have been held in a temporary hall at the new parliament building in Singha Durbar.
The permanent hall where parliament sessions will be held is currently under construction. The budget for the new fiscal year is being planned to be announced from this permanent hall.

The new parliament session chamber has been decorated in blue. The curtains, walls, carpets, and sofas are all in blue.
