Biratnagar, July 20

Police have rescued a child missing from Biratnagar of the Morang district in eastern Nepal from abductors’ clutches in India.

Nikisa Yadav has been rescued from India last night by a joint team of the provincial crime response team and the Morang District Police Office.

Police have already arrested Anjali Sah, who took the child under her control and kidnapped her. In her statement to the police, Sah said she handed over the child to someone else in Rajbiraj and the person took the child to Darbhanga in India.

Following that, the police had directed their search across the border.

The District Police Office is organising a press conference this afternoon to inform the public about the operation.
