Kathmandu, January 10
Police in Kathmandu have arrested an Indian national in possession of three kilograms of counterfeit gold.
A team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj, arrested Mohan Lal Gujarati from Gongabu, Naya Bus Park area this morning.
DSP Umesh Lamsal, chief of the circle, says Gujarati had carried the fake gold in the form of some coins.
He will face a fraud charge, according to police. Further investigation is underway.
