Kathmandu, November 7
Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Kamal Thapa has expedited his efforts to merge three parties which were once parts of the RPP.
Thapa on Wednesday morning held a meeting with Prakash Chandra Lohani, who leads one of the parties named Unified RPP (Nationalist).
Chief of Thapa-led party’s Publicity Department, Mohan Shrestha, says the meeting was positive.
Thapa had held similar meeting with the chairman of RPP (Democratic), Pashupati Shamsher Rana, on Tuesday.
The RPP says both the parties led by Lohani and Rana are positive about establishing a common party.
However, formal negotiations are yet to be held, it has been learned.
