Home Minister tells businesspersons to inform him about extortionists

Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has urged industrialists and businessperson to give in names of corrupt personnel and hooligans who have tried to extort money from them.

At a function today, he asked the industrialist to join hands with the government to ensure prosperity and end hooliganism from the gangsters of the Valley.

Thapa highlighted that the government was showing zero tolerance on corruption which hindered development and prosperity. To make sure of that, the government is ensuring necessary security to the industrialists, he added.

He also talked about how even the police were involved in extorting money and stated the government would take action against any such cases.

He highlighted the need to promote good governance and end corruption, also mentioning that the government would take necessary steps and amend policies in order to promote developmental activities in the nation.
