Rautahat, July 1
An unidentified group has set ablaze a parked truck near Rautahat district on Saturday afternoon.
The truck (Na 3 Kha 3842) was parked near the Lamaha jungle, along the East-West Highway, when the unidentified group set the vehicle on fire at around 3:00 pm yesterday.
Police with the help of Chandrapur Municipality’s fire engine tried to douse the fire. However, they could not succeed and the vehicle was completely destroyed in the incident.
According to Chandrapur area Police Office, the owner of the vehicle is yet to be known.
Police have been searching for the group. Further investigation is underway.
Various such incidents had been reported in the area earlier as well.
