Kathmandu, April 18
Nepal’s sole international airport, Tribhuvan International Airport, in Kathmandu was shut for seven minutes on Tuesday afternoon after a hydraulic system failure was reported in a Yeti Airlines plane while it was landing.
Domestic and international flights had been affected due to the problem seen in the aircraft which had carried passengers from Pokhara, according to TIA spokesperson Prem Nath Thakur.
The aircraft has been towed to the domestic parking station after facilitating a safe landing.
