Three killed in Rupandehi collision

Three persons died in a collision involving three trucks in Rupandehi district of western Nepal, along the East-West Highway, on Tuesday. Nine others sustained critical injuries.

All of the victims died on the spot and they are yet to be identified, informs the District Police Office. Among the nine injured, four are critical and they are undergoing treatment at nearby health facilities, according to Keshav Gyawali, a police inspector at the DPO.

It has been suspected that low visibility caused due to dense fog resulted in the incident. Further investigation, however, is underway.
