Dhading: Two killed in multiple-vehicle collision

Kathmandu, June 30

At least two persons died in a traffic collision involving three vehicles in Benighat of Dhading, west of Kathmandu, on Sunday afternoon.

DSP Rupak Khadka said two persons died on the spot when the bus (Lu 1 Kha 7079) and two microbuses (Ba 3 Kha 1004 and Na 2 Kha 4567) collided.

The first bus was heading to Lumbini from Kathmandu and one of the microbuses was trying to overtake it when the second microbus from the opposition direction hit both the vehicles, according to police.

Around 30 persons sustained injuries in the incident.

They are undergoing treatment at different health facilities around the place.
