Kathmandu, November 12
At least three persons died when a bus they were travelling on met with an accident in Dhapeni, Chure Municipality-3 of fr-western Nepal on Sunday morning.
Police say all the victims are women. One of them has been identified as Bhunti Devi Chand, 64, from Shivanath Municipality of Baitadi. Two others are yet to be identified.
Other 32 persons have sustained injuries and five of them are critical, according to police. Two have been sent to Haldwani of India for further treatment. Most of the injured have been admitted to Attariya-based Padma Hospital.
The bus (Na 7 Kha 2723) was heading to Bhimduttanagar of Kanchanpur from Melauli of Baitadi when it fell around 60 metres down the road.
