A cyclist has died after being hit by a truck at Bhantabari of Koshi-8, Sunsari last night.
The deceased has been identified as 60-year-old Bharat Sahani. According to DSP Narendra Kumar Karki, a truck (P2-03-001KH 2505) heading from the west towards the east hit the cyclist coming from the same direction.
Sahani succumbed to his injuries at the District Hospital, Inaruwa, police inform.
Police have arrested the truck driver Lasadorje Jimba (54) of Parwanipur in the Sarlahi district.
