Another person injured during the recent unrest in Sunsari has died while undergoing treatment in Kathmandu.
Twenty-two-year-old Rabindra Mehta died on Tuesday while receiving treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj, according to Senior SP Dilip Ghimire of the Kathmandu District Police Range.
Police said another injured person is currently receiving treatment at Bir Hospital.
Earlier, three people had died in connection with the unrest—two in Sunsari and one in Siraha. Om Prakash Mehta and Jay Prakash Mehta died in Kaptanganj, Sunsari, while Ganesh Yadav was killed in Siraha.
With Rabindra Mehta’s death, the death toll from the protests has risen to four.
