The Sudurpaschim government is planning to set up three field offices for facilitating the development of tourism industry in the province.
The Provincial Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment is planning to set up one field office in Baitadi to look after tourism in Baitadi, Darchula and Dadeldhura districts, another field office at Doti to look after tourism development in Doti, Achham, Bajhang and Bajura and the next field office at Kailali looking after tourism in Kailali and Kanchanpur districts.
The Ministry states that the field offices are being established to facilitate various programmes. They will also set up new structures at various places with the budgetary support of the provincial government.
The government has allocated different amounts of budget to more than 400 tourism projects in the current fiscal year.
