Sankhuwasabha, June 28
Four persons fell unconscious when they were attacked by a porcupine in Aaitabare Bhir, Chainpur Municipality-6 of Sankhuwasabha district, on Thursday morning.
Buddhimaya Tamang, Amrit Tamang, Suresh Tamang and Dil Kumar Tamang had entered into the hole in a bid to chase the rodent away. They have been rescued and taken to Tumlingtar-based Manakamana Polyclinic for treatment.
Meanwhile, one person accompanying Tamangs is missing. He is Ram Bahadur Tamang (19) of the same village, according to locals.
Police Inspector Hemanta Bikram Rana of Chainpur Area Police Office says they have launched a search to find out whereabouts of Ram Bahadur.
