This phone comes with a massive 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED plus Infinity-o display that has a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. With an 86.7% screen to body ratio, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The near bezel-less design creates a wider aspect and gives you a bigger, better viewing experience. The display can achieve brightness only up to 420 nits. This can be a problem while using the phone in broad daylight.

Camera

The new Samsung Galaxy M62 packs a quad-camera on its rear. The main 64 MP, f/1.8 camera is housed with another 12MP ultrawide camera which has a viewing angle of 123 degrees, a 5MP macro camera and another 5MP depth camera.  There is also an LED flash residing just below the camera house.

The camera takes decent photos for its price range and the user can go through multiple features and snap the best shot. It also records videos in 4K@30 fps. There is also a 32MP front-facing selfie camera. It also has a bokeh effect for taking selfies and amazingly captures videos in 4K.

Performance and battery life

The new Samsung Galaxy M62 runs on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top. The phone is powered by Octa-core Exynos 9825 chipset. This is one of the flagship chipsets of Samsung and is even better than the ones used in Samsung’s flagship S10 series. The phone should not have any problem with high performance. This really is an amazing feature for a mid-ranged Samsung smartphone.

The phone is backed up by a monstrous 7000mAh non-removable battery. This power gives you the freedom to use your phone without worrying about the battery. The company claims that its battery can last up to 24 hours of internet use, up to 33 hours of video playback time, up to 145 hours of audio playback time and up to 50 hours of talk time. This can be very beneficial for the ones who are always on their phone. The battery can be charged with a 25W fast charger. There is also a reverse charging system in the phone.

Storage and connectivity

There are currently two variants of the Samsung Galaxy M62. Both variants have 128GB of internal storage but are differentiated by 6GB and 8GB of RAM. There is a dedicated MicroSD card slot from which the external storage can be expanded up to 1TB.

The device supports dual nano sim cards. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth 5.0  for connectivity. It also supports NFC and has FM radio and uses USB Type-C 2.0. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack. However, the phone neither supports Samsung DeX Support nor Mobile tv.
