Kathmandu, May 15
Former commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Raj Narayan Pathak, has presented before the Special Court on Wednesday evening.
Accusing of bribery, the anti-corruption constitutional body had filed a case against its own former commissioner in March.
After Pathak showed up at the court, the court’s chair Babu Ram Regmi and members Dwarika Man Joshi and Pramod Kumar Shrestha are recording his statements.
After dragged into the controversy, Pathak had resigned from the constitutional position in February. He was in line to succeed incumbent CIAA chief Navin Kumar Ghimire.
