Pubanchanl University has made public the rules it has set up for conducting ‘time-bound home exam’ for semester system students amidst the growing Covid-19 crisis.
As the situation did not improve, the university has recently decided to conduct the examinations in the new model.
Here are some highlights of the rules:
- The students should acquire a roll number from the university’s examination management office. They also need to send their email addresses to the university at least 10 days before the scheduled examinations commence.
- The university sends the students the questions 15 minutes before the exams start. The students should handwrite their answers and email the scanned copies/pictures of the answer sheets within two hours after the exams end. Computer-typed answers are considered invalid.
- The students are not allowed to apply for re-totalling in case they are not satisfied with the grades.
- There will not be any objective questions. Practical exams will also be held after the crisis will be over.
