Pubanchanl University has made public the rules it has set up for conducting ‘time-bound home exam’ for semester system students amidst the growing Covid-19 crisis.

As the situation did not improve, the university has recently decided to conduct the examinations in the new model.

Here are some highlights of the rules:

  1. The students should acquire a roll number from the university’s examination management office. They also need to send their email addresses to the university at least 10 days before the scheduled examinations commence.
  2. The university sends the students the questions 15 minutes before the exams start. The students should handwrite their answers and email the scanned copies/pictures of the answer sheets within two hours after the exams end. Computer-typed answers are considered invalid.
  3. The students are not allowed to apply for re-totalling in case they are not satisfied with the grades.
  4. There will not be any objective questions. Practical exams will also be held after the crisis will be over.
