Janakpurdham, January 27
Province 2 Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Gyanendra Yadav, has got vaccinated against Covid-19 defying the set criteria.
As the government of Nepal opened the nationwide vaccination drive today, the federal government had announced that frontline health workers, security personnel, ambulance drivers and other frontline workers would get vaccinated in the first phase.
But, Yadav took the first Covid-19 vaccine in the province this morning.
Yadav says he wanted to vaccinate himself first as he wants to dismiss rumours that have questioned the effectiveness of the vaccine.
