Three district administration offices of the Kathmandu valley have decided to impose a prohibitory order in the valley for one week, beginning Wednesday midnight.
A meeting of the officials held in Kathmandu this evening made the decision so as to control the Covid-19 outbreak from spreading further.
While the order is in effect, the public will be barred from coming out of their houses except for emergency works, informs an official. All businesses and shops except those providing services and goods related to health, security, electricity, telecommunication, drinking water, milk and dairy products, petroleum products, medicines, waste management, vegetables, and foodstuffs will be shut.
