Kathmandu, August 14
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba along with some other Cabinet members is visiting various flood-hit areas of the country on Monday.
Minister for Home Affairs Janardan Sharma and Minister for Defence Bhimsen Das Pradhan and chiefs of security bodies have accompanied the PM to visit eastern Terai districts on a Nepali Army helicopter.
The Prime Minister will also address flood victims in Sunsari.
They are also scheduled to visit some districts of western Nepal as well. Earlier, Minister Sharma had visited western districts yesterday.
The PM-led team will prepare short-term and long-term plans for resettlement of flood-victims, it has been learned.
Meanwhile, various government agencies are providing immediate relief goods to the victims and relocating them to safer places.
