Kathmandu, November 11

The main opposition CPN-UML said on Friday that the Prachanda-led government completed its 100 days without achieving anything significant. The party said this as the government completed its 100 days on Friday. It said the government has failed to shoulder its responsibilities.

The government has failed to implement the Constitution, which is its main responsibility. It has failed to take concrete steps when it comes to Charter amendment.

Subas Chandra Nembang, deputy leader of the UML Parliamentary Party, told Onlinekhabar that the government has failed to implement the Constitution, which is its main responsibility. He said: The government has failed to take concrete steps when it comes to Constitution amendment. In the last few days, the amendment process appears to have come to a halt.

Nembang said: The previous government had brought forth an action plan for Constitution amendment, but this government rejected it. But it has not its own Constitution amendment plan.

He further accused the government of not bothering to create an environment for political understanding by holding talks with political parties. The former Speaker said the government should have taken initiatives for taking the country ahead by strengthening national unity through talks with all concerned.

The government has not been able to do this satisfactorily, Nembang said, adding: We don’t know what the government is doing.

Nembang said they will raise this issue in the Parliament.
