Kathmandu, November 27
India’s self-styled Yoga Guru Ramdev had his multinational Ayurvedic industry based in Bara district inaugurated at the hand of Nepal’s President Bidhya Devi Bhandari. Ramdev has also used former Prime Minister and CPN-UML leader Jhalanath Khanal during the inaugural and the Yoga camp similarly.
Amid these stunning ‘successes’, there were reports that Prime Minister Prachanda will not attend Ramdev’s programme. This led Ramdev to call up Prachanda on Saturday. In a bid to show that all of Nepal’s leaders are under his grip, Ramdev used all his channels to make Prachanda attend his programme.
However, PM’s Secretariat informed that he will not be able to attend the event as he was busy with preparations related to Constitution amendment.
Subsequently, Ramdev himself phoned Prachanda and asked him to attend the event. Prachanda could not say no.
True to his word, Prachanda is preparing to attend the closing ceremony of the Yoga camp in Bara, a source told Onlinekhabar. The source said Prachanda will fly on a chopper to Bara.
Ramdev has posted a picture of UML leader Khanal bowing to him. Prachanda’s visit is likely to give him another opportunity to post a similar photo.
