Four Patanjali products banned in Nepal

Kathmandu, June 7

The Nepal government has banned four products of Patanjali Ayurved Limited, an ayurvedic medicine company owned by Indian yoga guru Baba Ramdev.

The Department of Drug Administration says Bilwadi Churna, Avipattikar Churna, Ajmodadi Churna and Sitopaladi Churna have been banned after their specimens examined were found to be of substandard quality.

Meanwhile, the Department also directed authorities to immediately withdraw those products from the market.

The action has been taken against Section 14 of the Drugs Act, 1978.
