Holi with Oli shelved, UML chair returns to Kathmandu, holds discussions with PM Prachanda

Kathmandu, March 14

In the middle of the party’s Mechi-Mahakali Campaign, CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli returned to Kathmandu from Jitpur on Monday without bothering to explain his hasty departure. The same day, he had 45-minute discussions with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ at Baluwatar.

PM’s press adviser Govinda Acharya said the two leaders discussed contemporary issues like Constitution amendment and local level elections.

CPN-UML activists had invited local peoples to attend their programme, stating that they will get to celebrate Holi with Oli. As the former prime minister did not attend the programme, UML leaders apologised to supporters and said they will bring him after elections. Oli had returned to Kathmandu on Monday, pointing at some business in the Capital.
