PM Oli’s health improves

Fie: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli

Kathmandu, October 30

Doctors attending to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli have said his health is gradually improving.

Oli has been admitted to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for treatment of chest infection and imbalanced sugar level among other ailments since Monday morning.

But, as of Tuesday morning, he has been able to take breakfast and shave on his own, according to the doctors. They claim if the improvement remains steady, he can be discharged after around two days.

Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre of the TUTH says reports of his latest blood test and chest x-ray are also positive.

Dr Arun Sayami, a senior member of Oli’s treatment team says they had suspected heart problems in the Prime Minister earlier. But, the tests proved the suspicion wrong.

Cardiologist Dr Sayami, PM’s personal physician Dr Divya Singh Shah and general physician Dr Santa Kumar Das are looking after the PM.
