PM ‘holds meeting’ with key ministers at hospital

KP Sharma Oli

Kathmandu, October 31

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who has been attended to Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre in Kathmandu, has held a meeting with three key members of his Cabinet at the hospital on Wednesday morning.

Cardiologist Dr Arun Sayami, the coordinator of the team looking after the PM, informs that Oli held the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Ishwar Pokharel, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa and Energy Minister Barsha Man Pun.

It is a hint that Oli has already resumed his work ‘informally’ after a rest of few days, according to Dr Sayami. The doctor, however, suggests that the Prime Minister needs to spend one or two more days in hospital.

“He had a sound sleep last night. He has taken meals well,” Dr Sayami says, “Nevertheless, we have suggested that he stay here for next few days for rest.”
