Kathmandu, March 6
The Tanahun District Court has extended the remand of actor Paul Shah, who is in police custody in the district in connection with a rape charge, by 12 days.
Earlier, last week, the police had arrested Shah and the court had sent him to custody for seven days. As the remand was expiring today, the District Police Office had sought the extension today.
On February 23, the alleged survivor’s father filed a complaint at the Tanahun District Police Office claiming Shah repeatedly raped his minor daughter.
