Kathmandu, November 24
Nepal’s number one news website Onlinekhabar.com has launched a new interactive ‘election data portal‘ for the upcoming provincial and parliamentary polls.
This is the second time that the website came up with an interactive map for readers to follow the results of the elections. Editor-in-Chief Dharma Raj Bhusal said: “We know from the feedback we received from our readers that the interactive maps we used during the local elections marked a milestone in Nepali journalism.”
Through the new election portal cum database, readers can access the list of candidates contesting the elections along with facts and figures related to the polls. The website will also offer an in-depth insight into closely-watched contests around the country and profiles of candidates who have been making headlines.
Several new features will be rolled out in the days to come, added Bhusal.
