Kathmandu, February 12
Home Secretary Maheshwar Neupane on Wednesday conferred the insignia on the newly-appointed Inspector General of Nepal Police, Thakur Prasad Gyawaly.
Following the function, the official assumed his office at the Nepal Police headquarters in Naxal of Kathmandu this morning.
Gyawaly was promoted from the position of DIG and appointed the new IGP after incumbent Sarbendra Khanal retired on Tuesday.
