Kathmandu, January 22
President Bidhya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday congratulated Donald J Trump, the 45th president of the United States, a day after his inauguration.
In their messages, President Bhandari and Prime Minister Dahal noted that relations between the two countries are very cordial.
President Bhandari expressed hope that relations between Nepal and the US will become stronger during Trump’s presidency.
On his part, Prime Minister Dahal also hoped that bilateral relations will grow stronger during Trump’s rule.
Thanking the United States administration for assisting in Nepal’s development, PM Dahal expressed hope that the US will continue to provide help for peace, stability and progress in Nepal.
