
Kathmandu, May 5
Foreign Affairs Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat held a meeting with his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj in New Delhi of India on Friday.
“Both the ministers discussed the recent developments in India-Nepal relations, particularly recent high-level bilateral exchanges and implementation of all ongoing bilateral economic and developmental cooperation projects,” the Indian Ministry of External Affairs informed in a statement today, “Both the ministers reiterated their commitment to further strengthen and deepen age-old, close and friendly ties in diverse sectors of mutual interest.”
The duo also held discussions about local level elections going to be held in Nepal in mid-May and mid-June and efforts of the government to bring all political forces on board the constitution implementation process, the statement added.
