Minister Adhikari’s parents brought to Kathmandu; bodies to arrive ‘soon’

Parents of Minister Rabindra Adhikari brought to Kathmandu after the fatal crash involving their son, on Wednesday, February 27, 2019.

Kin of deceased Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari have brought parents of the leader to Kathmandu.

As soon as reports about the crash of an Air Dynasty helicopter, which Minister Adhikari on board, came out, the kin had gone to Adhikari family’s ancestral house in Malepatan, Pokhara of Kaski.

Then they took his dad Indra and mom Laxmi to the capital on an Yeti Airlines aircraft.

Bodies to arrive ‘soon’

Meanwhile, Tribhuvan International Airport spokesperson Pratap Babu Tiwari says all the bodies have been collected from the incident site. The bodies will be brought to Kathmandu ‘soon’.

Spokesperson at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ram Krishna Subedi, informs that four helicopters have been deployed at the incident side to bring the bodies to Kathmandu.

The helicopters’ landing, however, has been delayed due to the bad weather.

He says it will take two hours to take around two hours to bring the bodies to the nearest helipad.
