Hetauda, December 30
A man died in a road accident in Bakaiya of the Makawanpur district, south of Kathmandu, on Friday morning.
The victim has been identified as Bikram Bhamjan (30), a resident of Phurkechaur, Hetauda-18 of the district.
Bhamjan’s motorbike (Na 22 Pa 9977) was hit by a truck (Na 7 Kha 1352) from the back side at Tintale, Bakaiya rural municipality-5 of the district.
Seriously injured in the accident, he died during treatment at Hetauda Hospital in Makawanpur.
Meanwhile, pillion rider Hiramaya Lopchan (35) and an unidentified man on the truck are critically injured, informs DSP Tek Bahadur Karki. The truck driver Surya Bahadur Ghimire, a resident of Nijgadh-9 in the Bara district, is also injured.
