Infinix Hot 12 is now available in Nepal. The phone was launched along with another model, the Hot 12 Pro of the same series. Infinix also launched Hot 12 Play, another smartphone of the same series, a few months back. Since the ban on the import of smartphones over USD 300 has been implemented in Nepal, Infinix has been actively launching a series of budget smartphones in Nepal.

The phone provides a basic camera setup with a modest resolution recording option. Similarly, the battery backup on the phone is also good and is accompanied by a handy fast charging system. Infinix Hot 12 flaunts a similar styling seen on the Hot 12 Play with some tweaks on the camera setup. The phone comes with a standard build of a glass front, plastic back and a plastic frame. The back panel houses a familiar-looking rectangular camera panel including camera sensors and an LED flash. Similarly, Infinix branding at the left bottom of the phone has been done neatly. Unlike the Hot 12 Play, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrics.

A big 6.80-inch IPS LCD display on the front offers a resolution of 720*1,612 pixels and 259 PPI density. A camera sensor resides in the centre punch hole of the display. Furthermore, the display supports a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz, making the phone smooth and allowing for a better touch response.

Cameras

On the front is an 8MP camera sensor. The cameras on the phone are accompanied by a dual flash on both ends. This can be great for low lights and night shoots.

Both the front and back cameras can record videos at 1080p resolution at 30fps.
