Govt invites agitating docs for talks

Kathmandu, September 2

Minister of State for Health and Populations Dr Surendra Yadav has urged the agitating doctors to engage in meaningful talks after giving up all protests.
Doctors aligned with Nepal Medical Association (NMA) have been launching protesting programmes for past few days demanding the removal of stringent new laws to make doctors liable for the patients’ death.
Speaking at a programme on Sunday, State Minister Yadav urged the doctors to sit for talks and resume the regular services.
