EPL: Paras Khadka’s Biratnagar Warriors defeat Gyanendra Malla’s Lalitpur Patriots

Paras Khadka-led Biratnagar Warriors made a thrilling victory of six runs against Gyanendra Malla’s Lalitpur Patriots in the third match of ongoing Everest Premier League.

Malla’s team, which had earned an easy victory in the first match yesterday, fell seven runs short to meet the 151-run target set by Warriors at the end of 20 overs. The team lost four wickets.

Kushal Bhurtel’s six was not enough for the team to secure victory as they needed 19 runs in the final over. For Patriots, Pawan Sarraf contributed 51 runs while Bhurtel made 21 runs not-out.

In the first innings, Warriors made 150 runs at the loss of six wickets. Anil Kumar Sah, Paras Khadka and Babar Hayat made 47, 38 and 34 runs respectively.

In another match played today, Pokhara Rhinos defeated Chitwan Tigers by 10 wickets.
