Enough Is Enough activists remind govt of agreement

Kathmandu, July 16

Youth activists involved in the ‘Enough Is Enough’ campaign gathered today in front of the ministers’ quarters at Pulchowk demanding the government adhere to an agreement signed with them.

The youth reached the main gate of the quarters since the morning with placards and banners addressing ‘Good Morning, Minister’, chanting slogans.

The protesters also voiced the need for better quarantine facilities and the government’s active reforms for the same, drawing attention to the signed agreement.

On July 7, Roshan Pokharel and Sameer Kumar Adhikari from the ministry had signed a 12-point agreement with Iih and Pukar Bam, two leaders of the campaign. Following that, the two leaders had ended their hunger strike.

Two activists associated with the Enough Is Enough group break their fast-unto-death, in Kathmandu, on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.
