One woman died after being buried in a landslide at Daurikhola, Panchapuri municipality-7 of the Surkhet district.
The 78-year-old Amrita Jaisi, a resident of Turmakhand in the neighbouring Achham district, died after being buried in a dry landslide, informs DSP Suraj Karki of the District Police Office.
Meanwhile, 72-year-old Rati Kami sustained injuries in the incident and a Nepal Army helicopter airlifted her to the Karnali Provincial Hospital.
The two were walking on their way to the neighbouring Kailali district when they were buried by the landslide, according to police.
