Private airline company Buddha Air is set to resume regular flights to the Indian city of Kolkata. According to the company, regular flights on the Kathmandu–Kolkata route will begin from October 19 (Kartik 2).
Buddha Air had first launched regular flights to Kolkata on May 27, 2019 (2076 BS), but the service was not continued. The airline has now finalised the date to restart operations and has also opened ticket bookings. The one-way fare from Kathmandu to Kolkata has been set at Rs 13,353 per passenger.
The flight duration between Kathmandu and Kolkata is 1 hour and 30 minutes. As per the schedule, Buddha Air will operate regular flights on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
