The District Police Office says its personnel have arrested two persons with five kg hashish from Nisikhola rural municipality in the district.
A team from the Burtibang Area Police Office led by Inspector Suraj Khadka made the arrest of Bhagimala Buda and her distant relative Ram Bahadur Sauthoki on Saturday. Both are residents of the rural municipality.
They were selling the contraband when the arrest took place. The arrestees have been sent to the DPO for additional investigations, says Khadka.
