A landslide has killed four members of a single family in Nisikhola Rural Municipality, Baglung. According to the District Police Office, Baglung, the landslide suddenly struck a house in Nisikhola Rural Municipality-3, burying it.
Police identified the deceased as 39-year-old Shyam Kumari BK and her sons, 12-year-old Manoj BK, 9-year-old Mukesh BK, and 5-year-old Nisan BK. According to Deputy Chair Prem Bahadur Ghartimagar of the rural municipality, the landslide fell on the house around 4–5 am this morning.
In the same ward, at Engweng, a goat shed belonging to Jang Bahadur Khadka was also hit by the landslide. Of the 25 goats kept there, 8 were swept away.
