The government has called for applications for the vacant position of the chief executive officer at Investment Board Nepal.

The position is vacant since April when the government appointed its incumbent CEO Maha Prasad Adhikari as the governor of Nepal Rastra Bank. The government began a procedure to fill in the position two months after it turned vacant, by issuing a public notice today, calling for the applications.

Candidates meeting the criteria set up in the Public-Private Partnership and Investment Act, 2019, have been called to apply for the position in the next 15 days. The applications should be submitted to the recruitment committee at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

Among the qualified candidates, the committee will shortlist three and the cabinet will make the final decision.
