ACC U-19 World Cup: Jora, Sheikh and Tamang make comeback in Nepal team

Kathmandu, August 22

The Nepal team for the forthcoming U-19 Asia Cup tournament being hosted in Sri Lanka from September 5 have been announced.

Sundeep Jora, Aasif Sheikh and Surya Tamang have made their comeback in the team to be led by Rohit Kumar Paudel. However, Bishal Bikram KC and Tilak Raj Bhandrai have been left out of the team.

Nepal’s U-19 team will leave for Sri Lanka on Saturday where they will play a few warm-up matches with some local teams.

Nepal’s first match is against hosts Sri Lanka on September 6. Nepal will face Bangladesh on September 8 and the UAE on September 10.


Top order: Rit Gautam, Pawan Sarraf, Aasif Sheikh, Khadak Bohora

Middle order: Rohit Paudel (C), Sundeep Jora, Bhim Sharki

Wicket keeper: Hari Chauhan, Lokesh Bam

Bowlers: Rasid Khan, Kamal Singh Airee, Pratis GC, Kushal Malla, Sagar Dhakal, Surya Tamang
